Douglas Glen Park and Ride improvements

Bus stop at the Douglas Glen Park and Ride.

Modifications were made at Douglas Glen Park and Ride to prepare for Green Line construction, improve transit operations for existing routes, enhance the customer experience and reduce construction schedule risks for Green Line.

  • Built a transit-only road between 114 Avenue S.E. and 27 Street S.E.
  • Added a new bus terminal with seven bus bays
  • Added passenger shelters, a transit plaza, washrooms for transit operators and bike storage lockers
  • Modified transit facility and Park and Ride to accommodate the future Green Line LRT
  • Relocated and/or replaced utilities in preparation for Green Line infrastructure
