Registration will open:
- 6 a.m. — Online (virtual waiting room opens at 5:30 a.m.).
- 8:30 a.m. — By calling the Customer Service Centre at 403-268-3800 (option 1).
- During business hours — At any City-operated Aquatic & Recreation or Arts facility.
Upcoming facility closures
Programs, classes and swimming lessons will not be offered at the following facilities while they undergo repairs:
- Bob Bahan Aquatic & Fitness Centre: closed this spring and summer.
- Canyon Meadows Aquatic & Fitness Centre: closed this summer.

Enjoy Pilates with your baby. Pilates is a progressive series of exercises that restores the core, back and pelvic floor muscles.

A gentle intro to yoga and movement. Bond with your baby as you regain your strength and flexibility.

Yoga can help you keep balance as your body changes throughout pregnancy. Build flexibility, balance and strength and learn ways to relax and distress.

A fusion of fitness and yoga using the TRX Suspension Trainer to build strength, mobility and core stability.

Practice relaxation techniques and safe postures that re-energize and decrease everyday stress in this introductory yoga class. You will learn proper form and technique for your body.

Reduce and prevent back pain by balancing spinal mobility and stability. Safe yoga poses are used in this class for all levels.

Yin Yoga consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the connective tissues of the lower body – hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine.

About our Yoga and Pilates instructors
Our instructors are highly qualified with a minimum of a 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification in Yoga and or Pilates. Our passionate and experienced instructors will safely guide your practice.
What are classes like?
Classes range from fifty minutes to an hour and a half in length.
Each class begins with a moment to focus the mind on the upcoming practice and a gentle wake up of the body. Classes proceed with a selection of poses and exercises based on the class style. Instructors guide movement and teach form. Classes end with a calming cool-down period.

- Bring a water bottle
- Bring a Yoga mat
- Wear comfortable clothes you can move in (dress in layers)
- Yoga and Pilates are practiced bare footed. You may bring your own blocks, bolsters or straps, if you wish
