Long-term vision
The location of the 4 Street S.E. station will provide Calgarians with another option for travelling to the vibrant communities in the Beltline and East Village, and the many community amenities and services they have to offer. It will connect Calgarians to amenities like:
- Fort Calgary
- Patrick’s Island
- The Stampede Grounds
- and many businesses and restaurants in the area
Due to its proximity to the regional pathway systems and parks, Calgarians will be able to walk or ride their bike, skateboard or scooters to this station. This will enable them to travel to other parks and green spaces in communities along the Green Line.
The neighbourhoods around this station are transforming and redeveloping. This new LRT station will support additional residential and non-residential redevelopment opportunities planned for the area.
