Long-term vision
Located in the Centre City, the 7 Avenue S.W. station will be a connection point to the city’s heart of downtown, which includes destinations like:
- The Calgary Tower
- Stephen Avenue Walk
- Century Gardens, Olympic Plaza, and Devonian Gardens
- The Glenbow Museum, Arts Commons and numerous downtown theatres
It will also provide Calgarians with an additional connection to:
- other community amenities
- educational opportunities and employment hubs.
Through this station, Calgarians will have direct access to downtown Calgary’s free fare zone along 7 Avenue S, the Red and Blue LRT Lines and some Bus Rapid Transit routes. They will also be able to connect with the downtown cycle track network and regional pathways.
