Asian Heritage Month

Observed in May, recognizes and celebrates the contributions and histories that people of Asian origin have made and continue to make to Canada. During the month, various cultural events, activities, and educational programs take place to promote understanding and awareness of Asian cultures, recognize the contribution and achievements from those in the Asian community and to foster a sense of inclusivity and unity.
