Between the municipal election this past fall, the winter holidays, and some staff changes in the Ward 9 office, our newsletter has been a little quiet over the last few months. BUT! We’re back and ready to share all the great things happening in Ward 9!
The Bow River Basin is the hardest working watershed in Alberta with almost 40% of the population, the majority of river water irrigated agricultural lands, and only 4% of the fresh water.
On April 3, 2019, Council’s Standing Policy Committee for Planning and Urban Development convened for its monthly meeting and as its second order of business unanimously recommended that Council approve a path forward for legalizing suites.
