How to compost toothpicks and wooden utensils
Put wooden food sticks and utensils in your green cart for composting including:
- Toothpicks - no plastic flags etc.
- Popsicle sticks
- Barbecue skewers
- Bamboo cutlery
- Bamboo plates and other wood plates
- Barbecue cedar planks
- Chopsticks (can also take to ChopValue chopsticks recycling program)
Please note: Only disposable/one-time use wood sticks and utensils are acceptable.
