How to dispose of tampons and feminine products
Put tampons and these related items in your black cart as garbage:
- Tampon applicators (paper and plastic)
- All forms of sanitary liners (including the backing paper)
- Napkins
- Pads
Special instructions
- Wrap soiled items in toilet paper or put in a garbage bag before disposing.
- Never flush sanitary products down the toilet as it can harm drainage pipes and the environment.
