How to recycle plastic lids
Recycle large plastic container lids:
- In your blue cart
- At a community recycling depot
Size restrictions
- Plastic lids must be larger than 7.5 cm (approx. three inches) in diameter. Tip: if the lid is about the size of the palm of your hand, it's ok to recycle.
This includes:
- Yogurt tub lids
- Margarine container lids
- Cottage cheese container lids
