Volunteer with us
Want to meet new people, gain new skills and spend time getting active? Volunteering with our community programs will provide all these benefits and more. You’ll have fun while feeling good about giving back to the community. We offer full training for all of our volunteer positions and there’s always the potential to turn a volunteer opportunity into a career path.
We frequently recruit volunteers for a wide range of positions. You could be doing anything from assisting with programs and lessons to supporting community festivals and events.
Volunteer opportunities change each summer and different programs are added, so if you don't find an opportunity that interests you today, please check back later.
Summer Volunteer Opportunities (12 – 17 Y)
Assist staff in delivering exciting programs to children in our Park n' Play programs, and special events throughout the summer. Play while you build on your experiences, develop your leadership skills and make a real difference in the life of a child. Programs run weekdays, typically Monday – Friday, between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. An Expression of Interest is accepted January to April. Information packages will be sent out March/April. Mandatory training takes place in June. To learn more, please contact 311.
