The following is an overview of the training materials and resources available for Calgary AfterSchool.

All Calgary AfterSchool program staff should be certified in Social Emotional Learning and the S.A.F.E. principles. To learn about these two courses click on the links below. These online Courses are FREE.

Calgary Afterschool providers can use the School Connections YYC program to learn about accessing available spaces in schools.

The City of Calgary has collaborated with the Calgary Board of Education and Calgary Catholic School District to create the new School Connections YYC (SCYYC) framework.

SCYCC is a consistent process to connect schools and community-based organizations with one another to access available space in schools for programs and services to support students and families. SCYYC replaces Access 3 – 6.
