Anti-Racism Capacity-Building Fund
Up to $600,000 from The City, United Way and Calgary Foundation was available to eligible non-profit organizations for one-time initiatives to strengthen their organizational effectiveness, increase their programs’ impact, and address emerging issues and trends impacting Calgarians. Funding beyond 2020
The Anti-Racism Capacity Building Fund was a one-time initiative that was made available during 2020. A Capacity Building Fund and Emerging Issues Fund has been approved by Council. The Fund is available to non-profit organizations and seeks to address emerging social issues, which may include initiatives related to anti-racism and is available here.
Black Lives Matter murals
In June 2020, Council approved funding for four Black Lives Matter Murals.
