West Eau Claire Plaza Pop-up Vendor Plaza
We’re continuing to invest in West Eau Claire by developing a new vendor plaza for local business use. The plaza borders the 6 Street S.W. causeway to Prince’s Island Park, just east of the Peace Bridge, and will offer a space for seasonal vendors throughout the year, as well as during festivals and events in the area. The refinished concrete landing, complete with pedestrian pavers, will provide a safe and intimate place for pedestrians to stop and take a break, with movable furniture, bike racks, and landscaping with new shrubs and trees.
Major improvements are underway in the Eau Claire area and The City is working to minimize impacts to the community and local businesses in preparation for construction, planned to begin spring 2021. The new plaza will offer a space where vendors from Eau Claire Market can relocate and continue to operate throughout construction.
We are pleased to accommodate local businesses in the area and have secured a family-owned food vendor that will be bringing their ice cream and novelty treats to the new pop-up plaza in spring 2021.
