Safety Expo 2023
Welcome to 2023 Safety Expo
The 2023 Safety Expo is held as a two-day virtual event featuring live online presentations and virtual exhibitors on March 8 and 9, 2023.
The 2023 Safety Expo theme is: Spreading Kindness and Building Trust
Over the past few years, we have all had safety on our minds. As we all get back into the community, we must work together to build trust. We can do this by showing kindness to ourselves and others. We feel safe when we know those around us care and we can trust them to help us when needed. When we support one another, we make our city a safe and secure place to live and play. Every small thing we do in our community can make a big change in someone else’s life!
For the 2023 Safety Expo, we want to challenge everyone participating to think about how you can spread kindness and build trust in your community.
Here are some examples of what you can do:
- Spread some cheer by making someone in your community a card.
- Use kind words when speaking to others.
- Ask questions to learn more about someone.
- Uplift or encourage a classmate or friend.
- Hold the door for a senior citizen or mother with a stroller.
- Be a friend to nature when visiting parks and green spaces.
