Canada Day celebrations in Calgary

Canada Day 2024

On July 1, Calgarians and visitors will gather downtown to celebrate Canada Day. This year’s free and family-friendly celebration features an Indigenous showcase and powwow, live music, and will end with a fireworks show above Stampede Park. Other attractions throughout the day include cultural activities, performances, face painting, turban tying, a street fair and more.

We could not produce events such as Canada Day without the help of our volunteers. We have a range of roles available to help make the day memorable and fun.

Fireworks

Canada Day will end with a firework show launched from Stampede Park. The display will light up the sky in the downtown core and surrounding areas.
