The guidebook has information to help connect people with services that may be able to provide assistance. The guidebook also contains personal safety tips and information about the law in Canada. A colouring book is also available to help introduce children to the role of the police in Canada and includes safety tips for children. The Newcomer's Guide to the Calgary Police Service and children's colouring book are available in six different languages.
